The Census Bureau will not create the following shapefiles for the 2007 TIGER/Line Shapefiles: Census 2000 Urban Area Shapefile, Current Urban Area Shapefile
The Census 2000 Urban Area and Current Urban Area data can be found in the 2006 Second Edition TIGER/Line files in ASCII format. The Census Bureau will not create the following shapefiles for the 2007 TIGER/Line Shapefiles: Current Census Tract Shapefile, Census 2000 Tribal Census Tract Shapefile, Urban Growth Area Shapefile
The Current Census Tract and Census 2000 Tribal Census Tract data can be found in the 2006 Second Edition TIGER/Line files in ASCII format.Spatial data are incomplete in a few state legislative districts (upper and lower chambers) giving the appearance of holes in coverage. The county and state names, county and state FIPS codes and the state legislative districts where this occurs are below:
Brevard, Florida (12009), Orange, Florida (12095)Due to late database adjustments a few state legislative districts (upper and lower chambers) contain boundary gaps and/or overlaps. The county and state names, county and state FIPS codes, and the state legislative districts where this occurs are below:
Steuben, New York (36101), Tioga, Pennsylvania (42117)The state legislative districts (upper chamber) coverage is missing from Wetzel County, West Virginia (54103) and Marion County, West Virginia (54049).

Throughout Harris, Texas (48201) and Apache, Arizona (04001) there are unnamed non-feature lines (edges) with the road flag incorrectly set to ‘Y’. Many of these edges in Apache, Arizona (04001) are roads with incorrect MTFCC values.
Throughout Coconino, Arizona (04005) there are unnamed non-feature lines (edges) with the hydrography flag incorrectly set to ‘Y’. Many of these edges in Coconino, Arizona (04005) are streams with incorrect MTFCC values.
The most inclusive address ranges have not been calculated for edges, therefore the following address range and ZIP Code fields (LFROMADD, LTOADD, ZIPL, RFROMADD, RTOADD, and ZIPR) will be blank. The most inclusive address ranges will be calculated for edges on future TIGER/Line shapefile versions. To obtain the most inclusive address ranges and their ZIP Codes, please refer to the 2006 Second Edition TIGER/Line files. Another option is to join the All Lines Shapefile (edges.shp) with the Address Range Relationship file (addr.dbf) by matching the TLIDs. Please note there is a one edge to many address range relationship when joining or relating the edges.shp to the addr.dbf table.
Feature names are not consistent along an edge. Some primary names and alternate names have been flipped resulting in a primary feature name being identified as an alternate name. All primary and alternate feature names (featname.dbf) can be related to the All Lines shapefile (edges.shp) by matching the TLIDs.
The Census 2000 block group number (BLKGRPCE00) field is blank for a number of counties. The county and state names, county and state FIPS codes, and number of records in the topological faces relationship files where BLKGRPCE00 is blank are:
