Throughout Harris, Texas (48201) and Apache, Arizona (04001) there are unnamed non-feature lines (edges) with the road flag incorrectly set to ‘Y’. Many of these edges in Apache, Arizona (04001) are roads with incorrect MTFCC values.

The most inclusive address ranges have not been calculated for edges, therefore the following address range and ZIP Code fields (LFROMADD, LTOADD, ZIPL, RFROMADD, RTOADD, and ZIPR) will be blank. The most inclusive address ranges will be calculated for edges on future TIGER/Line shapefile versions. To obtain the most inclusive address ranges and their ZIP Codes, please refer to the 2006 Second Edition TIGER/Line files. Another option is to join the All Lines Shapefile (edges.shp) with the Address Range Relationship file (addr.dbf) by matching the TLIDs. Please note there is a one edge to many address range relationship when joining or relating the edges.shp to the addr.dbf table.

User Note 10:  Nation - All Lines Shapefile, Feature Names Relationship File

Feature names are not consistent along an edge. Some primary names and alternate names have been flipped resulting in a primary feature name being identified as an alternate name. All primary and alternate feature names (featname.dbf) can be related to the All Lines shapefile (edges.shp) by matching the TLIDs.
