Latest County Population Estimates Now on CD-ROM

Each year the Census Bureau releases county population estimates with a breakdown for age, sex, race, and Hispanic origin. Individual state files are released online. Users have asked us to release a consolidated file merging all the county records. As a service, we have released this file on CD-ROM and you can purchase it for $50 from the Customer Services Center at (301) 763-INFO (4636). The file has Census 2000 figures for counties and July 1 population estimates for counties for the years 2001-2004.
