Geographically Updated Population Certification Program (GUPCP)
Counts Released to Government Units

The data in this document include U.S. Census Bureau certified counts for governmental units that have requested and paid for a geographically updated population certification.  These are official Census 2000 GUPCP population and housing unit counts that reflect boundary updates reported to the U.S. Census Bureau after January 1, 2000, the official date of boundaries used to tabulate the April 1, 2000, Census 2000 counts.  The GUPCP counts also reflect any changes previously made to Census 2000 counts under the Census Bureau's Count Question Resolution Program.
